Managing Clusters

Adding Clusters

Clusters are automatically detected from your kubeconfig. To add more:

  1. Configure the cluster in your kubeconfig
  2. Refresh the cluster list in KubeAgentiX
  3. The new cluster will appear in the dropdown

Organizing Clusters

Group and label your clusters:

  1. Right-click a cluster in the sidebar
  2. Select Edit Labels
  3. Add labels like env:production or team:platform

Quick Switch

Use keyboard shortcuts to switch clusters:

  • ⌘/Ctrl + 1-9 - Switch to clusters 1-9
  • ⌘/Ctrl + K - Open cluster switcher

Cross-Cluster Operations

With Plus and Enterprise plans, you can:

  • Compare resources across clusters
  • Run the same query on multiple clusters
  • View aggregated metrics

Example:

Show pod counts across all production clusters

Best Practices

  1. Use descriptive context names in your kubeconfig
  2. Color-code environments - Red for production, green for staging
  3. Set up cluster groups for related clusters
