Is KubeAgentiX free?​

Yes! The Community Edition is free forever with basic AI features and BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) support.

Privacy & Security​

Does my cluster data go to the cloud?​

No. Your cluster data stays on your machine. When using cloud AI providers, only the specific query context is sent - never your entire cluster state.

Can I use KubeAgentiX offline?​

Yes! Use a local AI model through Ollama for fully offline operation.

Where are my API keys stored?​

API keys are stored in your operating system's secure keychain (Keychain on macOS, Credential Manager on Windows, Secret Service on Linux).

Technical​

Which Kubernetes versions are supported?​

KubeAgentiX supports Kubernetes 1.25 and newer.

Can I use it with OpenShift?​

Yes! KubeAgentiX works with any Kubernetes-compatible platform including OpenShift, Rancher, and others.

Does it work with kubectl plugins?​

KubeAgentiX uses the standard Kubernetes API. Custom kubectl plugins are not directly supported, but you can reference them in chat and the AI will suggest the appropriate commands.

Troubleshooting​

The app won't start​

Try these steps:

  1. Check system requirements
  2. Reinstall the application
  3. Delete ~/.config/KubeAgentiX and restart

AI responses are slow​

  • Check your internet connection
  • Try a faster AI model
  • Reduce the context limit in settings

Cluster connection fails​

  • Verify kubectl works: kubectl cluster-info
  • Check kubeconfig path in settings
  • Ensure your credentials are current
